Its a christmas present and I was really after the banksy... I'm not interested in selling this print, I'm looking for a good honest swap! If anyone is interested, I'm ideally looking for a Nola, a VLH, Stop and search or other serious offers. If anyone is interested, let me know. But how the fuck do you end up with a print that you didn't enter the lottery for? And reputationally how do POW justify your winning to the people who paid money into a charity lottery that did want this? Bloody scandalous.
I entered the banksy lottery and didn't win and don't have any issues with that apart from it's becoming increasingly clear that this 'lottery' wasn't a lottery, it was something else.
At the open day, in the queue, i was handed ยฃ20 worth of tickets (which I bought) and when I came to deposit them (I was going to put 12 in the banksy bin and 8 in the mic bin) I was told they were banksy tickets and all had to go in the Banksy bin.
I then asked if I could buy 8 for my Son (I was the bloke with the good looking, well behaved three year old on Saturday morning) I was told no where other people bought as many as they liked.
Bloody scandalous. (and I'm not that impartial).

I'm as boggled as you are that this has happened, I entered the VLH draw and the Mic Lovemaker draw...I'm guessing this is just an innocent mistake on behalf of POW but, like you said, it does make you wonder.
I would just like to clarify, I only purchased 20 tickets and this has absolutely nothing to do with any 'misconduct' on my part.
Lets not detract from the fact that:
1. POW are human - mistakes do happen.
2. This was an absolutely brilliant event, POW did well do raise so much for charity, both through raffle entries and voluntary donations. In addition, lets not forget the awesome mulled wine.
3. I only started this thread to see if I could swap for the ultimate christmas present for someone special, they (no doubt) will be absolutely delighted with the Mic but I just wanted what I thought would be perfect for them.
4. This is only an isolated incident, which having contacted POW, is being rectified
5. POW will, no doubt, learn from this and iron out the creases for future events; which I for one look forward to immensely.
I hope everyone manages to obtain whatever they desire from this (as for Beth at cost price - this seems doubtful! )
