I used to think he was up there as one of my all time favourite artists. I just found I couldnt connect with his art, because his messages behind them were lost to me - and on a more personal level, I found it offensive. Thanks for the info. I am glad I never managed to buy any of his stuff now.

For your information the Kalashnikof or AK-47 rifle is not used by the Israeli army. It is a Russian weapon is used by the Taliban and in Pakistan, Somalia, Rwanda, Mozambique, Congo and Ethiopia. It was similarly featured in Shephard Fairey's piece M16 vs AK47 (which was about the conflict between the US and Russia) and you don't hear people saying they want to kill him.
