Have you read the whole interview? Very ignorant just to pick a quote like that, kinda like a News of the World headline.

D*Face interview, by slowmo on May 9, 2008 22:21:36 GMT 1, I would be interested to know how old Dface is. I'm 31 originally from Bromley, Kent and we had a skate shop there from as young as I can remember with a half pipe round the back. He sounded a little bit like the I knew 'insert band' before they were famous, talking about going to the only skate shop in London, unless he is about 4o-50 years old?

D*Face interview, by guest2 on May 9, 2008 23:58:07 GMT 1, I would be interested to know how old Dface is. ....
I'm guessing he is around 35 as he was 12 when he saw back to the future. Rough trade was the main skate shop in London but there was a skate shop in Muswell Hill and Kentish Town and Croyden, MZone in Carnaby Street, I think one in Romford where the skatepark was. Also Surrey Skates. Just reading the interview he mentioned Tony Hawk and all the powell team came over. I think thats a mistake, Lance Mountain Steve cabellero and tommy guerrero came over and i think that was it...maybe Mike Vallely, can't remember. Got photos of them somewhere. Latimer Road was a perfect ramp.

Frankie, Tony Hawk was over here in i think 92? Around the time his double kick everslick board were just being released over here. I wanted one but was skating a Ray Barbee at the time. The Powell team came down to Leigh on Sea's at the moment defunct Rampage. I remember them showing there latest video, at the council hall, then on mass the Team and fans all skated down to the park for a session, where Hawk did like 12 McTwisits back to back. One of the best days of my young life Have got photos somewhere i will try and dig them up
