Faile Original on Wood, by solar77 on Dec 31, 2008 20:18:25 GMT 1, I'm selling my original Faile on wood. This piece was originally a street piece in Brooklyn. It was removed by the person I purchased it from (who claimed it was on a building being torn down, etc, the usual story).
I'm not one to buy pieces taken from the street, however, I contacted both members of Faile before purchasing the piece and was provided with full authenticity, as well as their blessing to go ahead and purchase the piece as an original. I will include this correspondence with the piece as provenance.
The piece is about 17x10 on a 1 inch thick block of wood, painted in thick acrylic, stencil and gloss finish. I'm asking 2K GPB. I'm in the US and will ship express mail (I'm also excellent at avoiding VAT).
