For all the those who totally dissed the recent Billboard work by Banksy as "not his" because he didn't "execute" it. Are you also denouncing this show? Because I doubt Banksy is an accomplished animatronics engineer. He is however, an accomplished artist with a phenomenal creative vision. Can we all agree now?!

The cards seems like its one of those things that will be replenished throughout the show, so doubt it will have much value, but I grabbed three just in case they become the "rare Banksy handout only available to those who went the first day" They're cute.
I wish I could have met more forum members there. Would dig meeting up with anyone while I'm doing my NY trip. It was remarkable how many Britts were at the show. Honestly, I think everyone who was there this morning probably heard about it from the forums.
This is such a sleeper exhibition. I think the idea is to slow build it. I can totally seeing this ending up getting national news in the days to come as its just so unique. Its small, but where else can you find an animatronic pet store - let alone one in the middle of NYC's 7th Ave?
Like I said, yes its a let down in terms of size and obviously a radical departure from canvas and stencil - so it will disappoint some Banksy fans - but I still find myself going - Hot dog weenies mating in terrariums??? What did I just see?

I'm sick of the hyped up mega shows and if this is the extent of his "show" in ny then respect. Banksy understands the times and NY is in a very somber mood right now...
oh btw has anybody even commented on the theme which is after all the most important aspect?
