People on this board especially are underestimating mr d and although artists like mantis etc are amazing - i think they would be fools to overlook d*face.
Got a yellow pop tart waiting to go into the frame - lovely!

I think another thing to think about when looking at artists and asking how successful they are, is the number of prints and canvases that are floating about  and how that may effect prices D*Face has produced a pretty large amount of prints over the last few years compared to most, and they still hold and increase in value. So its tricky to compare him to other artists that may have only made a couple of prints and of run less than 50

ideas continue for flow which can't be bad thing.
Cli-Che for one is one of the finest prints to have been produced
this year so far.

Agreed with what has been said on this post about Mr D - he has been around the street art scene for a long time now and his work is getting harder & harder to get hold of at source. Some of his pieces are better than others as with all artists - but the overall quality of his work is really good. Working with BRP & Stolenspace must have helped as well as the prints that I have got from the BRP runs have been the best quality prints that I own.
It looks like he may have more of an influence across the pond over the next few years as well with a show in New York in December with the like of Blek & he's doing a solo show in Dec'08. Hope he keeps up the good work ;D

It basically is.... It measures roughly 10x12... This is straight up a piece that DFace drew and signed onto a huge sticker and placed it somewhere on the streets of New York.... You can even see the marker strokes. The original owner saw the sticker, knew who DFace was, and carefully removed the sticker and mounted it on cardboard. Its almost like if a Banksy fan could take home the wall where he just stenciled. That is why I like it... Its the ultimate street art in my book... better that a screen print IMO........
