-I just picked up my first Choe print.... Hoppers... absolutely love it! Should have it framed pretty soon.... I actually passed on the city girl because I couldn't get past the spoons ( ) over her eyes..... and my wife was not that thrilled with it. I can tell you that Hoppers will blow you away in person... ( I am guessing City Girl is the same way) - I only buy what I like.... not in it for the investment... but I would say with Choe... you should not get hurt in the long run.

long term Mike I'm saying, short term yes - but really hard to point at anyone and say 5 years down the line they'll be here and doing well, prices holding up..i hope a few prove me wrong for sure (Neate's and Micallef's for instance) ..who do you think?

Sofa King is an awesome print. Can't comment on City Girl as I missed out. But as an image it's striking.

i have a few choes (city girl 76 / city girl 150 / hoopers / scarf / dry humping / sofa king / hell dogz) and love them all dearly. i think he'll be around for a while but get the points above. banksy, neate and micallef are the stars of this scene in the uk, probably choe is included in the context of the wider collector from abroad (USA in particular). its still shocking how much prints go for, bit i remember a story someone poster on here a while back about a girl in NY in the early 70's who spent all her earnings on warhols. at the time, her friends thought she was mad spending the money, but look at her investments now. same could be said for hume/emin/hirst in the 90's.
i've started rambling, but my point is the city girl 150 is in my opinion, one of the best images ever released as a print. check out matt zippys framing of it in the this forum, it rocks. you might pick it up cheaper as a bin on ebay if you are lucky, or it might go silly, like 'save my soul' by micallef.
all i knows is, that if i have a london gallery, i'd be representing choe. no question.
