POW and .... say elms may share information on buyers that have re-sold within a time frame they deem to be too soon. It could really mess up people that genuinely had to re-sell due to personal circumstance but at the same time does help to protect the prints for people that really wanted them.
Saying that i think this is actually a case of pow making a c**k up from hearing who is having problems.

POW Micallef 'God' refund, by slacker on Sept 26, 2007 22:57:49 GMT 1, i e-mailed simon last week and got a response to say that there was no record of the lowest numbered order i had (protx and pow confirmations received) but that the second order i placed before the initial protx receipt arrived had gone through okay. shortly afterwards i got a second pow confirmation for the second order.
ยฃ614 appeared on my credit card but one of those was refunded. just checked and there is still ยฃ307 on the card so i'm going to keep my fingers and toes crossed until it arrives.
hopefully everybody elses orders will be okay too

Dave, i bought 2 cos when i bought first i got to last page on protx and it said something like transaction failed, so i thought,s**t, start again. couldnt go back to basket, so tried to buy a fresh one. only after trying to buy second one, did i see email from protx saying first transaction complete. if you're told (cant remember exact words, but something along lines of) transaction failed, you are imo entitled to assume its a dud order, and try again. never had any intention of actually buying or owning 2.

In the past 3 months I've sold most of my prints to finance purchase of originals. I simply don't have the money to buy everything I want, so I sell some and I buy some.
They're logic is totally counter-intuitive. Man and his entire family walk into Laz and buy 20 prints. That's OK? Poor bastard like me gets screwed for buying one!!

Dave I bought one BUT would have bought, two, three or whatever if I was getting the same error message each time. The only reason I didn't was because several people on here had experienced the same error and told me to hold tight. So I did. If I hadn't checked this forum, or if I'd been one of the first to try and buy one I would have been none the wiser. The fact of the matter is their checkout system broke and was giving out error messages. They know that so should be showing those who purchased multiple prints a bit of slack.
