ADAM NEATE - 1,000 Print Give Away, by Agent Provocateur on Nov 16, 2008 16:18:08 GMT 1, I like the simple image and style, the added stamp (I got a wine glass ;D) and signature thing are cool... and I also like that it was screen printed after the staples were added so there's bands of cardboard not hit by the ink. Colourwise I found a red, I think it's the strongest colour  and will look great floated in a red box frame with black mount.
Also, on the variations, I know there are red, blue, green and plain... but has anyone else noticed there seem to be bigger variations on the plain version. I have seen a larger vertical off-white band going down the middle? Haven't see this on the red, blue or green.
Good on'ya Jboy, nice bit to two charities. Just a bit confused, thought the auction was canceled, but thought I saw it on ebay just now!
ps Wizbong... your mates sketch on the board in your garden was classic... and very good

Not sure its gonna work like that  What do you think will be the outcome of this?
Doubt it Silky - his prices have been going down recently, not up.
I am more inclined to think that if there was any intention to manipulate the market at all, it was to send prices up, not down.
However, I would prefer to think that the intention was just to give something back to street as Adam said. I think the whole thing has been a great treasure hunt event as is evidenced by this thread. The only flaw in the plan to me was the "bunching" of the drops which resulted in some people who were in the right place at the right time walking away with multiple copies and others searching all day/night and not even getting a sniff.
If anyone is now feeling at all guilty about having more than one, I will gladly take it off your hands, thus restoring your karma. And I will send you a pic of it framed on my wall.

I think this piece will look stunning framed, lots of interested parties seem to have missed out and its deffo a shame that a few will have been blown away and binned etc - silly money is how the current prices have been described and folks seem to think there will be lots available over the coming weeks. I'm not sure so sure, I think people will view it, by and large, as an investment that they've picked up for nothing.

As much as i love AN's work, I've never really thought much of this "simple" style that he seems to put out on pizza boxes, etc. It would be good to see what it looks like in a frame if anyones done this already?. 
Think ill get mine done like this. Railings Gallery here I come. Will post as soon as I have it back.

The green above has bad staple marks were as some that are on eBay have none. I know the the idea is that it is used cardboard etc but some are much cleaner looking than others.

Perhaps of placed them somewhere, and then you had to donate say a fver to charity and then you were sent clues as to their whereabouts.
I remember a book when I was a kid where there were clues in it which led you to a golden hare hidden somewhere in the country. Can't remember what it was called but seem to remember it having a hare on the front?
I think the whole thing could of been done a lot better and maybe of raised some money for charity at the same time.

I think you should have no problem G. It's always the same. The more hype there is initially, the bigger the price drop (and this had a LOT of hype with all the press and all).
It's a printed signature edition of 1000 that was FREE!
I wouldn't be surprised to see these going for under ยฃ200 soon.

I think this was a real opportunity to make people stop and stare. Unfortunately, it looks like they were just dropped at train stations. It was a real blink and you'll miss it affair.

Daughter aged 13 wanted to see if she could find one on Friday....travelled 120 miles to london..hunted for 6 hours only to miss one by secs as 2 young lads picked it up infront of us.... Daughter moodey all the way back and now your doing the same...Please stop incase she sees this...............
