I think that 3D pieces may now be beyond the relms of many people. Although I wouldn't give up on getting hold of a good street piece with as much provinance as you can get. Some of them are really good

(Almost) Nothing is impossible, however it does take time to get on these lists, it doesn't happen overnight.
Frequent communication with the gallery and a real intention to buy go a long way.
I think the good galleries try their best to ensure the work goes into good collections and doesn't find its way onto the secondary market too soon.
The way Elms have worked with Adam is, I believe, the right way( not too much hype( we do that job for them , realistic pricing given the demand, giving the artist the freedom to do what he does best).
The same applies to Parla IMO

I looked at the price list and the cheapest I saw were 40k +VAT. I think there were only two pieces left.

So, with the gallery now selling work similar to the street pieces at £8225 (although on 'fine art' paper instead of found card) - does this solidify adams genuine street work. The street pieces being Adams art diary and probably the most important works of his career. Thoughts?

Thats TOTAL BS. They were £7k ea + VAT, and all but possibly one were sold in advance of the pre-view to collectors that had bought from Elms in the past.

One has provenance and one doesn't. Although I think this forum has proven there are many exceptional 'street' pieces.
