Its nothing to do with price, its about ideas.
For me he stood very still or behind people over the last couple of years with some exceptions. He was late to make stuff on metal, late to che, late to Marilyn. His death and glory was late to the skull party, late to the ripped remixing of his own work. Is he gonna be late to the asian thing next (hope not)?
He needs to really step up in his creativity, he is a good designer and makes aesthetically pleasing pieces, but if he wants to step up he needs to show that he can make his own ideas, not sure he has done that really over the last few years, with street improvements as a noticeable exception.

I think you are correct, this will be make or break time for D*Face, in a sense...
Although I do have complete faith in him and I'm sure it will be an amazing show... with that said, a lot of eyes are going to be on this one and the arguments will continue no matter what...

Basquiat used his 3 crowns in everything, Banksy rats, Dface wings, Blek the same 4 images, faile, etc etc etc. They all have there own "trademark" so to speak.

I aint got a problem with the wings, I have enjoyed a lot of his work and own some, I am just saying he has noticeably fallen behind people over the last couple of years and its a big show for him to prove himself or to stay at the level he is at, with a hardcore of loyal fans and little else.
