DFace London Solo Show October 08, by Backpack Punk on Aug 19, 2008 22:45:47 GMT 1, Thats what i ment.. Im not sleeping out in the cold for anything. Only people that do that is "FLIPPERS" And this was proved @ BRP there must ave been a good 30-40% of his limited edition print on ebay in under 24hrs of the show. Stat, Expressobean shows 16 sold on ebay since the show - so that 21%. One other thing - what is your exact definition of a flipper? Cheers, Stat.
Ebeans rarely shows ebay.co.uk unless someone manually adds the auction, I pretty sure the tracker only tracks ebay.com

DFace London Solo Show October 08, by Ruggs on Aug 19, 2008 22:48:21 GMT 1, Does anybody know if an exclusive low edition print might be available for this show! The reason I ask is that I went to the Nick Walker show at BRP in April and bagged a 'Life's Too Short' print, which I now have framed. I'd do it again just to bag a D*Face.

DFace London Solo Show October 08, by dogant on Aug 19, 2008 22:51:40 GMT 1, 28 days of owning a print you bought direct from a gallery/artist is a flipper.. Anything ive sold has always been bought in the secondary market which i dont think is wrong.
Would it not be easier to say "one calender month" - remember the rhyme 30 days has September etc, ect, etc

DFace London Solo Show October 08, by slowmo on Aug 19, 2008 22:59:43 GMT 1, I'd like to see this in a setting where the art is just a part of something greater, really go to work with the whole thing. My personal choice would be a disused warehouse made into a small night time winter village with a full moon and star light, plus snow and snowy trees around with speakers playing a windy backdrop to really finish the mood.
The village would have a local bar (free drinks on preview night) with scary and strange staff who just give you long stares and silently serve you drinks, while a band like the tiger lillies plays inside. In the rest of the village small single room houses are dotted throughout, some empty with dinners left untouched, others covered in cobwebs, some with live acts like magic and theatre, some with open log fires and another with a secret door through a false book shelf, all with Dface work on the walls. Everyone has a horn given to them on entry, blow the horn to buy what you like and staff will arrive (in suitable eery village attire).
Now that would be a show.

DFace London Solo Show October 08, by bored with screen names on Aug 19, 2008 23:07:43 GMT 1, Expressobean shows 16 sold on ebay since the show - so that 21%.
Expressobeans isn't that great of a resource for tracking sales of prints that are UK based for the most part. Just look up any recent banksy and you'll notice a large number aren't accounted for (particularly ones listed on co.uk)

Good idea, friendly old lady boiling tea with teeth missing and a cat with fireplace and some old chesterfields would make a great room
