Pow certificate from pow email?, by sashaz on Jan 19, 2009 10:47:03 GMT 1, They say they have a pow and protox email confirm but does not want to give me the registered name to check it. They say i would get that detail after making thecorrect bid. Is that fair?
having said that it does have the embossed stamp clearly in many photos, that must be hard to fake?

Correct, I would not be bothered as long as all was in place and you get confirmation from Dora, although if you pay for a COA, i think I am right in saying that they update their database with you as the owner which is nice.

Pow certificate from pow email?, by Poppy Sunshine on Jan 19, 2009 10:50:31 GMT 1, Just tell them you won't pay until it's checked out. Then they have the option to give you the info beforehand or will have to trust you to stick to your word after the auction the same as you are trusting them to come up with the genuine article. An email to Dora with their info will tell you what you want to know and in my opinion the cert won't be necessary unless you or a future buyer really needs it.

I guess a bit, depends on item description etc. The above advice is sound though, having won, if indeed you do win the auction. Withold payment until the piece checks out.
