Anyone else ever had this happen??? And still ended up receiving the print?? I got confirmation emails from POW and Protx immediately after the purchase was made. I've emailed POW but haven't heard anything back yet. I've read some sickening stories about POW fcuk ups in the past. I just hope that this doesn't turn into another one of those stories

Just got this from POW:
I am sorry to inform you that your print order was refunded.
Due to the volume of people clicking to buy at the same time a small number
of prints were sold twice. Whilst the payment for both orders was taken, the
database only recorded one of the orders.
We had no option but to honour the order which was successfully recorded in
the database & refund the order which did not make the database.
In this case it was your order which did not make the database & I do
sincerely apologise for the disappointment this will cause you.

Bit harsh that, I would be distressed if I thought I had picked up a wicked print and had already planned on where I'm going to put it, only to be told actually no you didnt and here's your money back. I realise you are pointing out have a bit of perspective, fair enough, but perhaps you should too?
