247 Mag are looking to do a write up on upfest but they need some images to use (cos I was a tad busy to take any)...
If anyone on the forum has some great shots (including shots of the crowds) and wouldn,t mind 247 using the image/s (plus maybe we'll upload a few onto the upfest website in a few days) could you email me orginal images (may be best to zip them first if your sending a batch of large files) They go to print in a few days so anything by tomorrow night would be much appreciated :-) obviously your get credited in the text for taking the taking the photo...

The weather stayed clear and there was plenty of drinking!
All the artist where amazing and really friendly even got to do some screen printing with stickee
Want to do a big shout out, radio style to everyone i met especially Stickee, eyesaw, ben slow, spqr (you two are legends the bike looks amazing!), aviation security, AP, andy council, farkfk, GOIN, K74, snik, ikkenno and the art tart and any one else i missed off the list. THANKS SOO MUCH FOR A GREAT DAY and thanks everyone for coming.
PS i was the one in the fluro jumper i know you all secretly wanted it

I think i may already have one on youtube, a couple of people where filming me make up some a frames, thinking i was one of the artists building a piece of art. So i spun them a line or too!

Nice pics Silky. Here's one of mine off photobucket. Sadly it wasn't finished in daylight. I'll put more pics up of some of the other artists work that I documented also.

Great to see some familiar faces and meet many new ones! Lots of outsatanding work. Next time there is an event like this count me in for some painting! As well as a great day painting wise also a great money raising event, am keen to know how much was raised.

Had a marvelous day yesterday.
Took my two boys - and they both agreed it was (in their words) "fantastic".
It was a real pleasure to meet SPQR - and took a trip out to see his show - stunning! Love the skulls. And the "All the rage" - the pink one of those was gorgeous.
Great to meet Dale Grimshaw again - and his piece was breathtaking.
Really good to meet GVD. You cut a mean stencil mate.
Slammer - fantastic to meet you again mate.
Agentprovocatuer - brilliant to finally put a face to a name - and thank you so much for the test piece. Sorry I couldnt stick around to see the finished piece - long journey and school day the next day... Anyone got a pic of AP's piece finished?
One of my lads turned up with a painting of a pidgeon on wood - whichever artist gave this to him - thank you very much - it now has pride of place above his bed. If he knicked it when he shouldnt have (he promises it was given!) then let me know!
My biggest thanks go to Grafter - he was a real gent and an inspiration to my boys. He sat down with them for ages, and showed them how to paint, letting them do their own "make a wish" orriginals, using his stencils, explaining to them, with a great deal of patience, how to do it. Grafter - thanks very much mate - you made their day.
Thanks also to the artist - dont know who you are, that chatted to one of my lads, and then got him to do his piece on the bus.
Thanks also to the lady who was encouraging all the kids in the kids area - she was fab.
Finally - a huge thank you to the organisers - this was a brilliant event, and cant wait til next year.
God - realise that just reads like a list of thank you's - but they needed to be said.
