Highlights for me have been the forum's very own Agent Provocateur, who did a superb Biggles and rising star 8mail's work. Plus Karl Reid was excellent too. So many forumites out it was great to catch up.

Whilst I would never presume to tell anyone what they can post on here, I think it will be a shame if this thread turns negative. Upfest is a great event, where lots of us meet up for a weekend of art, beer and catching up. Amongst price checks, sale threads and hype this thread can be a breath of fresh air. In the past the Upfest threads have been many pages long. We can draw our own conclusions as to why that is no longer the case.
As for meaningful work, there was plenty. I would even go so far as to include my own lad's work as meaningful, whilst obviously being a fledgling artist.
It was also a great opportunity to be introduced to artists I was unfamiliar with, and to meet them.
