You can see how the corner of the plate has weakened so much that there is a much larger portion of that black corner missing ink in 40/40 compared to 1/40?

If memory serves, this was an etching FYI.

Those were hand painted, was the black not painted on?

No, the black was printed. He hand colored the image.

My supine was also a very low number, it has that same weakness on the right corner just above the signature that the paper monster photo reflects but doesnt have the same weakness that 40/40 has.
