Banksy NOLA Print on POW, by pfffffffffft on Nov 24, 2008 18:25:01 GMT 1, my order seems ok i will be emailed when it's ready  good luck to all awaiting there print, i think POW would have emailed you by now if the plug was pulled on your order, but i might be wrong. They dont even notify you. The only people who got emails are the ones who sent Nora an email asking why the charges got reversed. I'm interested to see if the friday orders really get refunded. I dont trust POW worth a s**t right now. There are about 9-10 people who I have read got refunds thus far. Since all 9-10 if us have receipts from both POW (with out print #) and protx, they should sell us AP's at a decent price. Or at least put us first in line for the next Banksy sale. I have heard nothing but good things from POW up until today. All weekend, everyone who has been around since before Banksy got big was saying "you will be fine, POW is top notch". I couldn't disagree more right now. Change in policy over there? Inundated with emails/work to do? they should do something for the people who got screwed. Is it too much to ask to put us on the first to be served for the next release? This is bloody bs.
Pow and Laz go out of their way to make people happy but I am not sure your mere inconvenience entitles you to an AP. Sorry. On top of that you tried to purchase two prints from the same IP address. You're lucky you're not banned from POW regardless of you trying to get it for someone else. Please keep that in perspective.
Sometimes websites have glitches, when you likely have 10s of thousands of people all crushing online for the same print some people will get f**ked up orders.
POW is top notch, perhaps chill down your sense of entitlement?
I feel badly for those who checked out prints only to find them refunded but ranting and demanding is not going to get you anywhere. This happened with morons, trolleys, and grannies apparently. It happens sometimes, and it happens with not only banksy prints. I have lost out on the last 2 releases and even though it's disappointing you just move on.

OK I'm wrong they will not email me, but as long as i get my print i don't care to be honest, i know it's not fair losing out then hearing people bang on about getting the print, it would p*ss me off too, also if people have tried to flip the print or have tried to buy two or more prints they might have also had their order cancelled too.(but they deserve too IMO)
you never know Nora might email you before the next print is dropped.

I must admit I am s**tting myself now!! Have missed out on the last few releases and been gutted, the thoughts of losing it now are terrifying (and I have told loads of people I got one) so how funny are they going to find it if it never turns up!!!
me too, my ass is twitching as we speak, and i have also told my sister, my kids knew about it as they were singing "come on" and "please , please" while we were waiting for the order to be processed on-line. good luck, i do not have access to my bank account on-line so i might have missed out and not know it yet, so i could be with the "i hate POW" camp very soon, i hope not.

Well I got both confirmation emails at 16.04 on Thursday and I emailed them yesterday to find out expected delivery time but had nothing back, which with the way things are going on here, I'm kinda glad about :-)

We would like to apologise to the people who received a refund on Thursday. Our database was overwhelmed with people adding to basket at exactly the same time & a small number of prints were allocated twice.
The small number of prints that became available on Friday were related to something else & clearly those prints should never have been made available. As a result all of those orders on Friday have now been refunded. We extend our apologies to those customers as well.
We have been able to to re-allocate all the prints from Friday's refunds & prints destined for Ebay sellers to customers who were refunded on Thursday. We hope to cover all the people who were refunded Thursday but if we don't they will be offered the opportunity to buy a Banksy print in the future.
We thank you for your continued support & understanding.

i hear yah, but i do think we have a right to be scared, yes it's only a print but it's one great print and we all thought we had purchased it on Thursday, so when 10's of members say they have had their orders pulled it's a bit scary, i know what you mean it's only a print but if you had bagged one and then most post on this forum keep telling you that they have lost their print I'm sure you would be scared too, yes?
