Im going agree with Als here as i have seen the POW site do this on a number of times when the site has been too busy. I know of at least 4 people who all scored a NOLA with out using scripts and i feel the problem is much less than people are making out. Way too much paranoia and bitterness flying about this forum recently.

Never won anything through the Faille Fairq but that or a lottery system is the way to go. Current system only helps office workers with internet access, students and those with the best/fastest computer systems. Some people have to work.

I am absolutely certain that the last time this was all discussed, and it does at each banksy print release, that it was clear they can recognise auto refreshers and block those IP's if they like, they have shown their hand in dealing with flippers. They do not tolerate unfairness, and will refund you if they suspect foul play, and do so without feeling the need to explain themselves.
I am sorry that there are so many people feeling bitter about this, I think that POW have tried to make amens by helping resolve the problem with Thursdays checkout problem and the same print being sold twice. I do feel they need to try and sort out the people who bought prints on Friday, my feeling is that they were releasing the recalled flipper prints back into the system, but then realised they actually needed them after all for the Thursady sales. We all know that prints do pop up after they ave normally sold out, so I do not think that they were released accidentally.
Getting a banksy print is a lottery, but I am not sure if FairQ would not be abused to an even greater extent.

Surely the more info they can get on this sort of thing the better

i have to agree i have never understood why you allow guests to lurk on these boards.
Surely if you shut down that option then they would be forced to join in order to get the info.

Again its down to Quality not quantity, there are an awful lot of serial posters on this board! Sign on and comment on every thread with nothing but crap!

Why lock a perfectly reasonable thread. i cant see any problems been caused by it.

I mentioned this in another thread a few days ago but I told a mate to join up just before the Neate thing the other week and she couldn't register. I've just looked around as well and I can't find an option to join anywhere so I'm afraid lurking is the only option for some.

incidentally, i only found this place when my trolleys didn't turn up after a couple of months (it turned out if was in a corner of walthamstow sorting office, so much for special delivery!) so people can be a fan of banksy without being a member of banksy.info.
