Stella Dore opened it's doors to the new gallery space located at 47 Rivington Street last night, to launch the new space we're exhibiting 'Make Over' a Stella Dore group show featuring new work from all the artists on the website and a few more. Are you saying that you suspect Banksy has used some 'Nola cash' to bag himself an Eelus original?

I reckon stella dore have done a good thing getting the gallery- Wicked Space- The place was rammed on Thursday night (seemed like the busiest gallery that night), miss bugs, eelus & pam glew & i-Lib stood out for me.

Steph and Banksy go back to POW where Steph was in charge and as Steph told us ( on these boards) last year he popped in and bought a few things from the Stella Dore Christmas show in Brick Lane.
I went to the Cept exhibition last week, boy that was hard to find!!! But definitely worth it. Not been to the new shop yet but I can see a window of opportunity next Saturday.
Me thinks that it would be rather rude to go to the POW open day and not pop in to see Steph @ the new gallery.
Pass the word around!!

Great gallery space really like the I-lib well lit and Pam Glew's fabric work is beautiful. Kid Acne on wood were rather nice. Congrats to Steph & team, great launch.

I dont think you can blame Stella Dore if this is untrue as it is quite possible that Steph herself knows nothing of this thread or claim.I spoke to her the day after the opening and she had no internet access and wont for a few weeks as far as I know and also the person who updates the stella dore account here is her assistant who may not have seen this and brought it to her attention.
From what Ive read of your past posts ALB I am inclined to believe you know what you are talking about and therefore trust that this is untrue. But I can also say that from the little time I have spent socialising/chatting with Steph she has the utmost respect for Banksy and her own reputation and I cannot see her knowingly getting involved in cheap stunts like this.
