Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by rustledust on Jul 13, 2010 23:35:35 GMT 1, I've been after a VLH for a while. There seems to be a massive difference between the buyer's value and that of the seller's for this particular piece. I've offered £2.5k on a number of occassions, only for the seller to want near a grand more....which is laughable.

Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by Urban Cowboy on Nov 4, 2010 23:36:42 GMT 1, Got 5 new things coming in when MFM gets to my place and it looks like the VLH is coming down from the wall.
It is float mounted in a white Railings box frame and has the cert. So it's pretty much sorted for you.
I don't want to sell but happy to hear any swap offers. I would rather add money my end and definitely don't want multiple items.
I like the following artists who have works in this price bracket. Micallef, Francis, yeo, Harrington, that sort of thing. Will look any originals at all but please be realistic with valuations. Look looking at new stuff so try me. All pms in confidence as always.
Can add pics if you can't imagine it but not till weekend.

Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by kennas on Nov 19, 2010 21:44:59 GMT 1, Hi folks,
Haven't seen one of these sell for a while, any advice on what is the going rate? Mine is framed by MFM, and has the full paperwork. Pictures can be viewed on my Flickr.
Will obviously prefer to someone who wants it framed and is London based, however for the right offer I will remove it and ship anywhere.
Cheers
PS may be selling my one of my more unusual banksys, not the Nola, for the right offer. PM if interested.

And only and edition of 299, guessing 2.5-3k on the low end.

I've meant to be on that policy for about a year now, but I've not managed it yet. I do think nows the time for me as well. I have started only to buy small pieces recently ;D

Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by Deleted on Dec 23, 2010 16:56:16 GMT 1, they were some tight ass tubes back then, although not a big print I wouldn't want one that hadn't been laid flat in a nice portfolio. However lots of people don't mind, so i hope i dont put anyone off buying your one.

Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by joeschmo on Dec 23, 2010 17:41:20 GMT 1, Trasbash is a top seller and a very good artist in his own right, I've bought a few prints off of him over the years and never had a problem.
Wouldn't worry much about it being rolled in a tube, I took out a few prints that have been rolled up in POW tubes for 4 years and they are fine, including one bought from this seller.

Banksy "Very Little Helps" Print, by saint on Dec 24, 2010 15:12:05 GMT 1, Sorry can people stop misunderstanding auction house results. Saying 2.7 is cheap considering one sold for 2.8 plus fees MEANS NOTHING. The buyer is paying 2.8k plus, but the seller probably got less than 2.6k depending on the sellers commission that can be negotiated with the auction house. PLUS FEES is one of the most misunderstood terms, and i constantly hear people saying 'oh but its this or that plus fees'. If you're not selling in an auction house why are fees even being mentioned?

Not sure it is misunderstood, just that there are two ways of looking at. Sure the seller gets 2.6k but the flipside of that is that there was a buyer who was prepared to pay 3.1k for this print once buyers commission is taken into account. How that helps with value depends on whether you are a buyer or a seller. There is nothing to misunderstand about it though.
As for whether this is a good price or not I don't really have a take on what these are worth. But it's a lovely print, is a nice size and the edition size is considerably smaller than every other recent banksy print (when you take into account different colourways).
