I think your confused barsuk - look when I started this thread....

This print is mine and has been for years. I put it on ebay. It sold but buyer never paid. So its for sale again. Simple.

I imagine you were somewhat relieved.

The 'buyer' may have got nervous with a large transaction having little ebay history/experience?

While I am tempted not to dignify your comment by giving it a response... in this case I will do.

Your comment is completely unfounded and totally untrue. I most certainly did not bid on my own print. If you're going to make an accusation like that, you better be able to back it up with some evidence (which you can't, because there isn't any, because your accusation is false). Otherwise an apology is seriously in order.

I had an offer at the time the auction ended of £3,650 from someone on the forum (who may pipe up to confirm this) but seeing as the previous unframed VLH had sold for that amount on ebay a week or two before (which I thought was a bit cheap anyway seeing as they seems to be going for about 4k privately at the time) I decided to take a gamble that it would fly in the last minutes and let the auction run. A big mistake as it turned out.

However, because I'm HONEST, despite being gutted by the final auction price, I was willing to go through with the sale DESPITE having someone else willing to give me £300 more in cash with no ebay fees to worry about.

And for the record, in order to prove this, I would be willing to give Daniel Silk my ebay login details so he can log into my account and see who the person was who won the auction and the messages between us.

I suggest you be a lot more careful before you start throwing accusations like that around in future and look forward to your prompt apology.

So it looks like that for the 2nd time I've got a non paying buyer, this time from the forum...

Had a reasonable offer last Thursday which I accepted, and sent the member my details and asked when he wanted to collect.

Didn't hear anything back till Sunday night (after the one on eBay passed what he offered me...) despite him logging in multiple times each day in between.

He wanted details to check with pest control which I sent and said he'd ring Tuesday to arrange collection

Not heard from him since despite texting and PM....

So, for third time it's up for sale.

Now at £3,500 - that's my lowest price. Not taking offers.

Last one finished at 3,625 on eBay and mine comes with a frame that cost over 300 - I mentioned the museum glass right ?

I think that's a very good deal for someone... So pm if interested.

But....
