Update to this thread: Looking to sell

I have now had the print unframed to check condition. Now back in frame but pictures are from unframing.

The print is in perfect condition as you can see.it has been dry mounted on Ph neutral conversation board so flat as a pancake. I know dry mounting is not everyone's cup of tea and some will say this will effect value so making all aware and priced accordingly.

Registered to me with POW cert..based in Essex...ready to go

Putting out to the forum at nearest offer to 20k for a no hassle deal otherwise listing on the bay.

I'm sure we are all aware on what these are going for so I think priced fairly ( members opinions may differ )

Probably best off taking it to auction, gonna have a hard time finding anyone paying close to what it’s worth being dry mounted otherwise.

No I didn't request it to be dry mounted...

In original listing it was still framed, had it removed from frame after 9 years in November to find it dry mounted

Thought I had it covered as taken to a professional framer of 20 years and my knowledge of framing was limited.... What can I say except be careful who frames your prints..........

One thing........ that's all they have to do, just frame things,  you explain what you want/ fully reversible, acid free mounts, japanese hinge tapes, say that it will be coming out of the frame at some stage and You want it looking like it's never been framed. Yeah yeah, of course, we have been framing for years, we only ever use conservation materials. 10 years later, take the back off the frame what's the print  been stuck down with?

If the wrong tape is used, yes it can discolor the print. But the main concern is that when you remove the tape or glue, your going to damage the print. Everything done while framing should be 100% reversible so much so that when unframed one can’t tell it had previously been framed.

     I purchased this print many years ago from the original owner. I both applied for and obtained the COA from Pest Control. There are no condition issues to inform a buyer of other than a light crease in the upper-lefthand corner that could be easily pressed for £150 (or whatever Bignell charges now) and that the area around the numbering is slightly smudged. I asked Pest Control if the numbering could be fixed when I applied for the COA but they never replied. It has never been framed and has always been stored flat.

     I bought this from Luis a few years back. At the time I was thinking of buying four or five “I’ll Never Forget What I Can’t Remember” prints with the money I had but bought this instead. Yeah…. I bought it at the time Pest Control was taking very long to make change of ownership requests so I have not registered it in my name. Luis provided me with the registered owner’s details on paper and they will be provided to the buyer in order to make transfer of ownership as smooth as possible. I wouldn’t call it mint as everyone is a stickler, but this print has no condition issues to report, has been stored flat and has never been framed.

Hey Bob I'm intrigued to know what you are thinking of buying that you'd get rid of these two beauties. Would love to own a Very Little Helps but just out of my range these days, should have bought one when I had the chance at £3k.....
