It's a bit off topic, but I asked it a few weeks ago and no-one answered, but what is the meaning behind the Nola? It would be interesting to hear people's thoughts on this as well

POW have cancelled flippers orders in the past, I would think they would have a serious problem legally since the seller actually paid for raffle tickets!
I would dread to think of the messy court case that one would make!!

As I posted last night you can download his images directly from his site and have them printed up. Yet is seems to irk you more that you have failed to buy a Banksy print.
I love Jose Parla as an artist, and have an image of one of his pieces on my phone. Whilst I would love to buy one of his works, just to look at his work on my phone is enough, as it is what he produces that I love and not my ability to own his work.

I missed out on NOLA and VLH too so im starting to see the worlds through PUD eyes

Of the 2 Banksy's I have, one was a gift and not for sale, the other I took off my brother to help him pay for his wedding - so if you want to pay what it cost me feel free. I can understand the frustration of missing out on prints, as it has affected me in the past. However it is far too easy to get caught up in the need to "own" art. Due to circumstances the collection that I had helped build up is having to be sold. Whilst painful when I was talking to an artist about this he reminded me that if you're not careful your possessions begin to own you. Ultimately I want to enjoy art, rather than own it.

I'm glad a lot of money has been raised for charity, and if I don't end up with one, it's not the end of the world.
Maybe buy the Futura prints instead (surprised they are still available!).
