Cli-Che is super high quality! the KC airbrushing is pretty cool up close...the 10 Ways is all hand painted and heavy...Shanghai about as raw as it gets! bad seed nothing special extras wise but a great, classic image. take advantage of my misfortunes as i unload a chunk of the collection!

taking fees into consideration, £350 is roughly £50 under what he could pick up but maybe he just needs a very quick sale?

The sad thing about this whole discussion is that some of us are into this stuff because they like the artwork itself and want to have it hanging on their walls, not the potential profit they could make of it two weeks after the official release.

Fatherxmas comments always manage to make every thread he posts in into something very annoying for me and I don't think I'm the only one feeling that way.

Too cheap? It's a print issued about a year and a half ago which had an original price tag of 300,-GBP. There's always two or three of it on the bay for either ridiculous bin prices or get pulled off before the auction ends because the seller believes he can't get the money the print "is worth".
How could 50,-GBP more than its original price be too cheap, when no one is going to buy it for more?

I think ALL prints out there are way overpriced. This is mainly because of message boards like this that tend generate a ridiculous amount of fuss about stuff which in essence is either uncreative, has been overdone for ages (just look at all the Flags, Rats, Monkeys, Marilyns or Che's out there - I'm not talking about D*Face's go on these subjects) or simply not worth the money newbies are told on here (see Beejoir's, Mantis' etc. prices last year and now).
I'm not saying these guys don't create nice stuff from time to time but in no way that justifies the hype and price tags artificially created.

D* for me really is one of the serious artists out there along with Banksy and others but this doesn't make his prints worth three times their original price (I do believe this is true for Banksy, too, why would anybody who just loves his work pay 2k for S&S if he could have it hanging for 20 quid by using the picture in Banksy's "online shop").

I don't know why so many of you rather let the Cli-Che have some flipper idiot who'll try to sell it in two weeks time on ebay for 1k marked as bargain of the century à la fatherxmas or someone of this dumbasses who miracliously always manage to get a Banksy's or other sought after artist's works only to throw it on the bay two minutes later.

This post is in no way meant as direspect to you thesewalls or the other ones in this thread who have posted sensible replies, I'm just sick of all these wannabe art dealers who wouldn't care for any of this, if it wasn't "signed & numbered".

P.S. You can also sell it to someone else if you want to or are offered a better price, I don't mind.

FYI thesewalls is a stand up guy who has dealt with numerus members on the forum and he is definitely to be trusted. Best of luck with your sales mate, your letting go of some nice work at more reasonable price than I've seen around.
