I'm after a bit of help from one of you knowledgeable bods...
... I understand the only way to really tell if a Di-faced tenner is real is by weight.
Is there any chance someone could PM me the correct weight?

Seeing as no-one seems to know, I'll weigh mine and then shall we all agree that whatever mine weigh is the new 'BDT Standard' weight (that's the 'Banksy Di-faced Tenner Standard' weight) that all shall be measured against? We all agree mine are real and I get to ejudicate on all weight issues, sort of a mass-related pest control. Obviously, for EU reasons, we will only work in metric. :-)

i asked someone in the bank how they weighed the notes when counting, i.e. what dose a ยฃ10 note weigh, she said it did not give a weight just an amount, not sure if that's true, but get some jewellers scales or just ask your local drug dealer ;D or jeweller to weigh the note for you.

Assuming the forum member validating the weight isn't the same guy that sold them to you. surely weighing them is a rediculous way to authenticate them as they would of been cut from a larger sheet of paper and unlikely to all be exactly the same? plus weights would likely change over time depending on storage/environment etc. Or does it not need to be that accurate, just "roughly X amount"?

That said, when I get chance, I will weigh them and I'll post it up for comparison - or even just a bit of fun.

i feel it is where you get them from that matters rather than wieght colour etc.
mine are at garys at the mo- will post pics when i get mine back!
