what size is morons supposed to be?, by slacker on Jul 3, 2007 0:08:24 GMT 1, this might seem like a stupid question (thought that search would be my friend and since it wasn't i'm assuming tht this is a stupid question) but i got my morons out of the tube tonight for the first time in preparation for putting it into an a1 portfolio.
it is too big for the portfolio but a1 is supposed to be 594mm x 841mm. pow say that morons is 760mm x 560mm (although they do say approx). i have other prints which are 500mm x 700mm which fit into the a1 portfolio with a fair bit to spare.
the morons isn't even close to fitting - i'd say that it is close to being 100mm wider than a1 (so probably about 650 to 700mm wide).
is that normal? now have to come up with a different way to store it until i can stop buying prints for long enough to get it (and a couple of d*faces which i knew wouldn't fit) framed. hmmm!!

A good way to store it if you cant fit it in your portfolio is buy a mylar bag and back the print with some foamcore or something.

it was the first time i had the print out of the tube and there was a slight ding on it near the corner... well actually near the corner and then a lesser one slightly further down (same ding but the print is rolled). they are both on the white surround and i've probably passed the statute of limitations for contacting pow about it (i'd rather keep than get a refund). anybody have any suggestions about what i should and shouldn't do with the dings?
