For example, there is a line leading upwards from the intersection of ice-cream and cone in the original which is in the first picture but not the POW image, and there is shading above the ball which isn't shown in the POW print.

Seems strange that everyone came back from the open weekend announcing it as print of the year etc and then they turn up today and people are moaning.
What happened? or did the mulled wine wear off

So far...opened the Lovemaker, and it's stunning.
All matt.
Eyes and mouth look good.

If you look at it from the side at ground level, there are a couple of areas where the ink looks ever so slightly (and i mean slightly) glossy, but these are specifcally around the limb ends of the teddy and the balloon - i.e. - same places generally as jamieb but to me it looks as this is where the ink is more concentrated / image deep black.
If I look at the same level but from top to bottom and vice versa - nothing at all...looks totally matt.
Would need to see a much clearer pic of other people's 'glossy' issues but from what i can see - and it's not that clear to me.
But I've no complaints at all.

No probs baler. I only saw one blindstamp in the bottom left corner where the number is. Oh and Winter - you won't be dissapointed!
I agree with Streetgirl, I didn't notice anything overly odd with the print. But then again, I wasn't looking at minute details as I was a bit overawed by it!
The word stunning has been correctly used several times, it really is an incredibly delicious print, quite dark though. I'd really like to hear people's interpretations of it, anyone care to start?
I hope that everyone lucky enough to get this print will have a similar reaction as me when unrolling it. I simply couldn't keep my eyes off it. I know it's not 'street art' per say, but print of the year in my eyes.

I had the print gods looking out for me that day I guess....and brilliant recompense for not bagging a VLH's or any Banksy releases in the last 12 months more to the point.
So - who's going to get theirs framed first and what are people thinking about options.
PS - has anyone else got a bind stamp quite close to the edge of the print? mildly annoying but not my problem. It's my printers framers problem.
