There has been a fair bit of speculation regards to which print will be released at The London Art Fair on the 13th January and Iโm pleased to say it will be The Empireโs State.
Itโs another Black Rat Press print job so the quality is super doop!

I am booked in for Knee surgery next week, can't make the show and gonna miss out on this one, my disappointment missing out on the last 6 Banksy releases is nothing compared to how I feel about missing this one!
Looks like this year is gonna start as shit as last years ended!

We will also be releasing a new edition by Nick Walker on the preview evening. We were allocated a small number of tickets to the preview evening which we have sent out randomly to people from the mailing list. A small number of the edition will be held back for collectors from overseas. The gallery is open by appointment only throughout January until out first exhibition of 2009 which will be our annual show dedicated to printmaking featuring some yet to be worked out live printing demonstration type thing.

I have to agree with you there. The selfish side of me is now extremely pished off that all of this info has been released and that preview tickets are on general sale. I thought BRP were deliberately keeping this release fairly low-key to ensure true collectors had a chance to purchase and keep the flippers at (E)bay.
I'm gonna be away skiing at the time but managed to convince my non-skiing gf to go on my behalf. Probably best tell her not to bother now - can see this turning fairly ugly tbh.
Anyway - good luck to those who, like me, intended to hang this print on their wall and not ebay.
And if any cnut tries to flog this on the forum for twice or thrice the price they paid I will personally hunt you down and give you a wedgie.
