I don't think it was bought at a premium. The employee works for the gallery and the gallery is the primary dealer, so where would the premium come from? I think he meant he bought it from the gallery employee, as in he is the first owner.

I see he has been painting along this theme for 6 years. Just shows its worth sticking at it. Really impressed with his work.
