. . . and also how would one get an invite to a preview? or is it simply for the people in the higher echelons of society (i.e. those in the circle of trust  )

trollies will be a mear baby in comprison..loads more curve balls to be thrown in this room yet im sure...
So whats this banksy has choosen not to wear his monkey mask whilst outside smoking tabs in case he's spotted...Or that his fellow helpers are under a no smoking herb (Bristols number 1 export  )whilst helping out.. And that thatchers have sponsored the event..

Yeah maybe  I do like the industrial spaces for shows as well
Could the style of the place fit with what Banksy is after? Big gold frames? Oil painting? we will see ;D

Silky that would be immense if banksy went down the oil painting route. show another side to his talent!
I personally like the formality of this event if it is to be held in a museum, its trying to ground banksy as a proper artist which can only be a good thing . . . and surely this is more different than the usual banksy, we have all seen banksys non-conventional style of obscurity such as cans and pet shop. this more formal professional approach is common in art, but not normally in banksys resume! i for one am exited at the prospect!

Seriously I am surprised its in the Bristol Museum. There is a lot of old big stuff in there that would have be moved and the exhibition space is not huge. One little gem in there is a tiny Seurat oil painting of an orchad painted on the back of a cigar box. I think thats called 'found wood' these days.
I think I just saw Hans Blix leaving the RWA.
