Thank you all who had made this experience possible. Feel totally overwhelmed at the mo but that's probably due to all those toxins in my body. Off to the bed again. Afronica rocks!

Got to the show about half 12ish queued in the sunshine for about 25mins or so....finally got in past the stab vest wearing security and completely loved it. Finally getting to see the real thing after all these years of (slight) obsession was brilliant. Some genuine laugh out loud moments (anyone for Dogging?) and the fact that the regular folks of Bristol seemed to like it just as much as me only made the day better…… Annoyingly I seemed to have missed a fair few pieces and we were in there for well over 2 hours......oh well never mind, another road trip beckons!

What an amazing art experience. Spent the whole 2 and a half hours walking round with a massive grin on my face.
Half the fun was playing 'find the Banksy' in amongst the 'serious' pieces.
His work is so fresh and relevant, saying more to me than any politician could ever hope to.
Favourite thing for me today was the section behind the chicken wire. I could have stayed there all day. History laid out for our perusal.
Good to meet AP, bigman, stuey, CBL, crack, mcnutts, slammer....
I look forward to taking my good lady and one year old daughter in a few weeks. As a boy of the 70s, I love anything that brings out the child in me, (Texan Bars, Star Wars, Choppers, BMX bikes with skyways and mushroom grips). Today certainly did that.
I could go on but will leave it there - just to say I'm still buzzing about this very special day and will be for some time to come.

Hunting for Banksy's round the rest of the museum was a mission and a cracking idea... missed a few tho so will probably return on a calmer day.

It was pretty well managed by the museum I thought, very chilled, and not the sea of heads in front of the art that I thought it would be.

I nearly had a hard attack then. I thought I'd missed a whole section!
Yes - that bit is sensational. The insight into the genesis of the pieces was fantastic. The composition of Nola (on the left just outsid of the cage) was fascinating.
Phew. Heart rate reducing now!
