Just to oblige!
Seven and a half hours driving and am shattered! Got there at 10.30 and big queue but only took 30 minutes. I won't bore you with my thoughts except to say that it was bloody great.
Good to meet AdamK as well!

There are definitely photos of the line - some bellend with an SLR stepped out into middle of the road to take some, right in front of my car as I was accelerating away from the lights meaning I had to swerve into the next lane cutting someone else up - first time I've ever had to use the horn, better not have been anyone on here, utter utter c0ck

Spent most of the day with some forum members.
Show was utterly brilliant.
Couldnt fault it.
So much new work.
Studio was fantastic. Canvasses were too.
Great fun hunting down the work that was mingling!
Cant wait to take the kids in the next few weeks. They will love it - the kids that were there were clearly enjoying themselves hugely.
Bonus to see these pieces afterwards too:

From what I've seen in pictures and on the TV it looks like it would blow you away. There is so much detail in it and i highlights what a gifted artist Mr. B is. Destined to be one of his all time best.

We got there at about 9 today, reasonable q, but when it opened at 10, all those q'ing from 9 got in straight away. A lot of people joined th q after us.
By the time we left the q was much longer, and was only trickling in, and people were having to q inside to get in the canvass room.
Of course, that may only have been cos it was the first day.
But I was happy that I had made an early start (also 2.5 hours drive)

well i'm american and i live in a tourist town in florida where i see this picture everyday. So i guess i naturally think americans. Whenever i do see this scene i cant help but think to myself "If these fat a-holes would get off their fat ass and pull that little guy around it would do them a lot of good!"

the mock studio - get to the front and spend ages!!
the big green one with the frollicking riot coppers
the one with the mum adjusting the anarchists face mask
the riot copper on the horse - spooky in person
(as you can tell, not too sure of the titles of these pieces!!)
