Banksy's in Bristol, by graeme501 on Jun 12, 2009 13:33:27 GMT 1, was hoping that somebody from bristol on the forum could list places and maps of the banksy street pieces worth seeing around bristol as id imagine many people who dont know the area that well will be coming for a visit, and a guide would be really helpful

Banksy's in Bristol, by ryskip on Jun 12, 2009 13:49:12 GMT 1, Gorrilla with mask is a bit further out but worth a look, best to get a bus or taxi. Is on Fishponds Rd near Eastville Park. There are a lot of older hidden Banksy's around there as well, just watch out for the ladies of the night!

Banksy's in Bristol, by hobo on Jun 14, 2009 22:33:48 GMT 1, These are the Banksy's still in Bristol roughly in an order if you wanted to walk from one to the next...
Masked Gorilla on Fishponds Road near-ish the junction with Heath Street. Cat and dogs freehand on Robertson Road near junction with Foster Street. Clik! Clak! Booom! on Cato Street near junction with Mivart Street. Freehand sunrise to right hand side of Inkie dub on St Marks Avenue at junction with Cato Street. Designated Picnic Area in short alleyway between Banner Road and Sharftesbury Avenue. Flower throwers by pathway between Princes Street and Harlston Drive Heavy weaponry on Wellington Avenue near junction with Upper Cheltenham Place (there's another at the top of St Andrews Road) Take the money and run freehand on Bath Buildings in health centre carpark nearish junction with St Andrews Road. Mild Mild West on Stokes Croft opposite junction with Jamaica Street Rose on Mousetrap on Thomas Street North. Sniper on Upper Maudlin Street opposite Children's Hospital. Grim Reaper on the Thekla (it's a boat) and is visible from Merchant's Quay. Man out of window on Frogmore Street where it crosses Park Street. Wildstyle on the shutters of Rollermania at 62 Park Row Playing It Safe stencil on Pro-Cathedral Lane (there's another at the end of Stafford Road) Tiger and barcode on Clifton Park near junction with Pembroke Road
There's also the Quak Attack piece up at Lawrence Weston Pumping Station but you'd need a car to get there, a stickman being chased by (now buffed) coppers on the junction of Nelson Street and Bridewell Street, a crappy tag on the railway bridge over M32 visable from Frome Lane which has now been tagged over by Wrong and then Worst and a stencilled tag on Brandon Hill which might or might not be by Banksy.
Enjoy Bristol.

Banksy's in Bristol, by panniertank on Jun 30, 2009 12:05:44 GMT 1, With grateful thanks to Hobo, this is what I found last Saturday, listed in order as detailed by Hobo. Generally I was only looking for ones that I hadn't seen before. Took around 4 hours starting at Stapleton Road Station and walking to Park Row.
Masked Gorrilla (I took this photo was taken in April this year, no change from what I could see).
Cat and Dogs
Click Clack Boom was quite badly tagged so I didn't bother
Freehand Sunrise
I couldn't find the designated picnic area stencil, nor either of the Heavy Weaponry's.
Take the Money and Run
Mild Mild West, as I have seen it before, I passed it by.
Rose on a mousetrap, now 'framed' on the wall
Sniper
Grim Reaper, again I have seen it before, so didn't make a detour
Man out of window, partially restored
Wildstyle on Rollermania
Playing it Safe, Pro-Cathederal Lane
Playing it Safe, Stafford Road
I didn't check out the Tiger and Barcode, nor the others detailed above
