Ended up with the black edition - and think its easily the best choice. Framed up in a thick matt black frame it looks truly amazing - think its my favorite of the last 12 months - and by a stretch......anyone considering buying, I'd fully recommend.....................

Elvis, Eine's prints (and originals, obviously  ) are so much more than just colourful alphabets. I was lucky enough to bag a black shutter font and have seen a couple of very nice commissioned pieces from him and they are amazing. Small 72dpi jpegs on the web will never do them the justice they deserve. What needs to be taken in to consideration is the skill it takes to produce them. Typography is a skill in itself. I doubt his pieces were knocked together in Microsoft Word. Every mm of space between each letter, every colour combination for each letter (and the adjacent letters) and every screen burned for each letter would have been considered. Plus the added layer of varnish to make each individual character jump off the sheet just makes me a little bit too excited over something that can be described as just a colourful alphabet. I totally understand that Eine's work won't float everyone's boat, but I can happily stand up and shout extremely loudly (and proudly) that this is one of the best prints I've ever seen. To quote a good friend of mine "Every house should have at least one Eine." Hunt one down, you won't be disappointed. Lef ;D
I think this is more than a touch of the Emperors new clothes IMO.
i really don't see the difference from this to those colourful alphabet sheets given to kids to help learn their ABC other than those have the letter W included. Oh and they don't cost hundreds of pounds.

Fair enough mate. Eine is obviously not your cuppa. You say Emperors New Clothes, others say Best Print They've Ever Seen. Let's call that a split decision. Its all about personal opinion I suppose. Personally, I can't wait to get mine back from the framers and on to my wall.

the answer is couldnt hold back. had to get it.
its exceded all my expectations. if you're an eine fan you HAVE to own this. its jawdropping. the colours and the scale of it. incredible.

yes , I used this highly sophisticated technique myself several times
put a sheet of paper over the spot you need to straiten and try lower temperature for starters
maybe even the back side as I am not sure how the gold would react to the high temperature
I'd say short thouches or strokes
maybe test it on something else before you go for the print
