You can get 12mp for like £99 but then you can get them for £299. Obviously there is a difference but when i take pictures i just want to click and the picture is taken. Nice and simple like me!

Gives you an automatic function for quick snaps, but also lets you play around and get more into it as you progress. I use a sony DSLR these days (when it works) and love it, but i've used canon and nikon as well and they're slightly better imo.
Otherwise if it really is just a quick point and shoot you want, go for a canon powershot. Fantastic little camera and sturdy as well. You can pick one up dirt cheap, £56 from argos for the 10mp....

if it's just to take pics of your art then don't bother with an SLR - i have a Canon 5D MKII but i use that primarily for landscapes and outdoor work - for day to day stuff i sold my Canon 450D as i always used my wife's amazing little Lumix point and shoot! it's a brilliant little camera and perfect for everyday use - i'd recommend that over the Canon powershot's all day long.

her's is a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ65, it's last year's model so most probably been superseded by now but have a look about you might be able to pick it, or something similar up cheap.

Not thinking of selling but if i can get rid and buy an alphabet canvas instead i might. Its number 2/25, which is as low as you can buy as i asked for number 1 and was told Eine was keeping all number 1's..... (probably not true tho!)
Anyone fancy swapping a white shutterfont print? trade for a shutterfont canvas?? or would trade for a glitter canvas? or perhaps a different font canvas?? Interested in canvases if thats not clear....

I was merely pointing out that if black is an edition of 150, and white is 25, then in theory white should be 6 times more valuable.... (maths). So if he sold his black for 820, my white is worth £4920..... in theory. So.... anyone want to buy a white shutterfont print? asking £4500, a theoretical bargain....
