Advice selling a BANKSY, by Deleted on Jun 18, 2009 19:18:46 GMT 1, Hey, just after a little advice please. I've recently picked up my ultimate Banksy that I've been after for ages... unfortunately I agreed with the missus that in order to justify the amount of money spent I would make a proper effort selling one of the another Banksy prints and that print is 'Christ with Shopping'. It is framed to conservation standard and comes with COA. Not really sold any of my art before and I'm thinking going down the auction house route - less hassle than ebay and maybe get a better price? Anyone know when the next urban art auction is or advice about the best auction to use? any help much appreciated. Thanks, C

someone said this to me at the Nick Walker show last month, i would stand back a bit if i had the cash to buy one ;D. Looks great in that frame,good luck with sale.

they'd give you (for it) or what percentage they'd take (if they'd sell it for you..)
Then call one or two auction houses compare the diff - then think about it.
good luck btw - i was after one for a while ... then gave up.
(just before tom tom packed it in..)
