FS BANKSY Girl With Balloon Diptych (6/25), by uglyiq on Jun 19, 2009 19:44:32 GMT 1, Current Gallery (selling not bragging) price for the single canvas GWB is 40K tops - Private sale, nearer 30K - If the Double has a 50% premium would put it at 60K in a Gallery but I think 45-50K is more realistic for a private sale, assuming it's in tip top nick of course, a good few similar 25 editions going unsold sub 20K at auction due to condition - Don't want to rain on anyone's parade but it's still very much a buyers market out there - Best of luck to all concerned

2) Thanks for all the vouching guys.
3) 90k for me (not the canvas) is on the cheap side. Bloody fantastic condition. I'm probably fitter than you and can drink you under the counter.
4) Yes, I have been known to play golf, tennis, and understand the offside rule. I also don't mind if a bloke comes steaming home at 3am in a drunken stupor as I am prone to not come home at all.
5) Canvas...excellent condition. Kept / displayed in a dust free environment away from direct sunlight. Also been told that it was the one hanging in Stockholm.
6) 40-50k is too hopeful...if someone can play the cash game, someone can get a wee bargain.
7) If a deal can be done within the week, that would be wonderful. I'm off to shoot things next weekend and the dosh will come in handy.
