Hi
We have a few of the prints from the 'Shiv Identity Crisis' show still available and we would like to give everybody the chance to purchase, as we have had many
enquires from overseas and far away!!!
So we are going to make some pieces available online from M-city, Slinkachu and Joe Black over the next couple of weeks.
But 1st up we'll be making the last few pieces from the Miss Bugs 40 piece original available - 'Dirty Art Holding Hands with Politics'. Now this is going to be a little tricky as each
piece is completely different. So, as we are using a pay-pal shopping cart you need to just decide if you would like a pair or one single ...
Once payment has been made we will email you with a picture of your allocated piece. If you are not happy with your allocated piece we will do our best to offer you a second choice if still available. If not we will refund you immediately - all pieces will be allocated on Tuesday 12th and each buyer will be contacted by Tuesday the 12th
We will sort though the orders straight away and contact everybody with confirmation asap.....

Each piece is 4 colour stencil / sticker collage / and 1 colour silk screen on aluminum (50x75cm) -
NO TWO ARE THE SAME, So it 1st come 1st server

That Joe black stuff is brilliant, just wish it was not so damn expensive.

Not at all, don't be ridiculous! Personally I do like their work and the only thing I can say to counter you plagiarism call is, for all the ripping of other peoples' images, you show me another artist who's work has the same feel or concept as MB. I think their concept is quite defined and even dare I say it, quite unique. Their use of existing iconic images is very deliberate and an integral part of their medium and part of what makes their work distinct in its' own way imo. Plagiarism is rife throughout art in general and especially this genre. I feel personally, that so long as the work itself as a whole isn't plagiaristic (is there such a word?), that it's integrity cannot be questioned for the originality of some of it's components. These characters are I hink supposed to represent our comfort, our familiarity and perhaps at times our acceptance. I think the only line I typed of any relevance was the first one really - I'll shut up if you can show me comparable work by any semi-established artist. ;D

Good luck to all those who do buy though, I hope you love it when it arrives! I also like the Joe Black stuff. Not sure I'd buy his work, but I do enjoy flcking through the images on his site.
