WTB:Banksy / Space Invader /LV Child, by nimsu on Aug 12, 2009 14:57:37 GMT 1, Been a collector for a few years in the kidrobot/vinyl game as well as the poster area. Now looking to get my first banksy. Probably want to start off with a lower price piece. Have a few Obeys and Josh Keyes to trade as well as some Kidrobot-type stuff.

What matters is to try and collect/meet the seller, so you can inspect before buying. Another thing is to get the name of the seller and print number to check with POW if that's the registered owner.
Also, don't buy from people with very little feedback on Ebay, and only 100% positive.
I'm stating the obvious but it's true you want to be careful.

I'm not much of an Ebay punter these days, but especially once you're talking Banksy prices, as I don't want to risk a complete stranger sending an empty tube (let's face it, it's profitable enough for scumbags to be tempted).
In addition to the above post, I have to say I do feel fairly confident in dealing with forumites if they can provide some references and have never had a problem yet. Meeting in person to inspect/collect is a very good idea imo.
The only other thing to add is, try to get a PCO/POW COA.
