Can my banksy get fixed ?, by outandabout on May 30, 2009 21:04:35 GMT 1, I have two small creases like that on my signed love is in the air. I did the damage ages ago before I got it framed but it doesn't bother me. I was curious if other people would worry about something like that?
I had serious issues on a trolleys I got cheap with stains and things so got that restored (by a guy in bristol recommended on this forum) and took along my lita at the same time for an opinion... he thought I was a little crazy to even think that creases like that were a problem and that any resoration work always carries an element of risk.

How so Mike?? Can you point me towards any 'gone wrong'
I see on a very regular basis prints that have not been looked after, the method above does work (but use heavy brown kraft paper and zero water in the iron)

Can my banksy get fixed ?, by redfred on May 31, 2009 23:12:42 GMT 1, If it were mine, and I have tried this in the past and it worked for me, dampen a cloth and apply it to the back of the crease so it is just damp, turn it face up and lay it on a flat surface and put a couple of heavy books on it till it dries out. In my case it worked, and if it doesnt it shouldnt damage the print.
