Mounting and print value, by tranceport185 on Jan 6, 2007 20:43:47 GMT 1, Hey guys I just picked up an LA Trolley and it looks like the print has already been mounted with some kind of adhesive whicch pulled a little away from the back. Do you feel that the seller should of told me this? I mean I hate seeing it but does it really take away from the value. Not that I am looking to sell it but I do want to get what I paid for. Just curious thanks.

Any damage at all should be listed when selling. This will detract from it's value. Advise you ask for either a discount (presuming you want to keep it), or ask for a full refund if you think you can secure a mint copy for the same price.

Mounting and print value, by tranceport185 on Jan 6, 2007 21:33:47 GMT 1, Yeah I paid top dollar as I love the print so if the print was 1395USD is it fair to say that I want back 300USD or a full refund? I think its fair I should just get the cash back...dammit I hate this kinda stuff.

All things considered, try and get your cash back, I presume you're both in the USA so should be easier than had you bought elsewhere. Keep the discount option in mind in case it all gets too messy and stress to deal with.
Good luck !

After speaking with the seller of course, try and make contact in person. Telephone works wonders in cases like this. Can often look a bit blunt and aggressive when written.

Mounting and print value, by ABC on Jan 7, 2007 2:18:02 GMT 1, This should have been listed, it has been mounted and therefore you have the right to file for a refund. Also please remember that this may be the next print released and therefore there will be shed loads listed on ebay soon after and they will be going for around 4/500 after the initial high. Take grannies and applause for instance just look at that pattern with prices. The only thing that may be different is the colour, there was talk that the POW prints may have a background colour added. Good luck

Mounting and print value, by tranceport185 on Jan 9, 2007 16:10:24 GMT 1, I took the 300 off as I am going to keep the print so for 1000 USD I think I did ok. There is no visable damage except for the pull areas where the adhesive was on the back. Took it to the framer yesterday and nothing is visiable from the front. So in the end is it perfect no but damn Trolley Hunters is a cool as print. I had to keep it.
