Creases, by arcam on Apr 16, 2007 10:51:13 GMT 1, Do prints often arrive with them?
I received a print today and it has a slight crease on one corner. You have to look really hard to see it and its only visible on the border not the print itself. I am a tad upset considering it was a replacement for a print that was slighly faulty. Can't decide whether it's worth mentioning as the print didn't cost much.

Creases, by romanywg on Apr 17, 2007 0:17:30 GMT 1, I've just sent a print back that cost me £20 on the bay. It was slightly creased in the post. It didn't mention creases in the write up so it went back without even asking them.

Creases, by Andy'77 on Apr 17, 2007 9:26:01 GMT 1, The Flags I bought on ebay arrived with a crease in, after a long discussion with the seller, trying to get a discount, he would only give a full refund. I decided to keep the print as it was a good price, just means I need to hang it somewhere light doesn't reflect against. Other than that I've been lucky.

Creases, by Ågent ßacardi on Apr 17, 2007 9:30:00 GMT 1, My signed (okay, autographed) Damien Hirst poster came with the edges all creasy Which was kinda unexpected too, 'cos Other Criteria packed it really well - they even had sponges inserted at each end of the tube so that if the poster shifted during handling, they'd get a soft landing. It was wrapped very well too.
Also, my Sgt. Peppers Lonely Bastards print from Pure Evil also came with a small crease at the corner. Both received today. I'm not exactly having a lucky day, am I?

Creases, by arcam on Apr 17, 2007 11:57:41 GMT 1, I thought about contacting the seller, but to be honest I just felt like I was being petty. The crease is very slight, only a fussy git like me would notice it.

Creases, by snakes on Apr 28, 2007 23:42:48 GMT 1, It may sound odd but here is a wee tip for removing creases on corners or where ever (as long as not on a blind stamp) and i have not tried this method over printed areas, so here are; 1. Wet a cotton bud. 2. Dab the crease so that it absorbs the moisture ( a few times, but do not rub) 3. Iron out the crease (empty iron of all water and turn off steam) and place print within 2 sheets od paper (1 each side) (just incase iron is dirty or whatnot so not to much up print, always best 2 have print facing down too). 4. This process may have to be repeated a couple of times but actually works! If in doubt practice this on a blank that you have created a crease on.

I don't know what you're talking about.
