Print Restoration Man!, by Mister Frame Man on Sept 5, 2008 8:44:24 GMT 1, Just thought I would share the knowledge after reading an increasing number of reports of members who have experienced problems with bad framing jobs (Obviously not carried out by the MFM team)
I know a couple of you have used my guy before and had very satisfactory results. He is based just outside Norwich and you will see by his website has years of experience and is "real old school".
www.levetons.co.uk/
I would be more than happy to arrange collection and liase with Barry (Restoration Man) should anybody require help and a reframe afterwards!
Should you contact him, just mention that I put you in touch.
Thanks, I hope this is of use.

Print Restoration Man!, by hitme on Sept 5, 2008 20:09:13 GMT 1, what sort of framing problems do people have that causes them to get prints restored? are most of these accidents cases where the prints were floated? because how the hell can you screw up a simple framing job with use of mattes? seems the safest of all to me. Floating prints makes me cringe...archival or not, why would you want any adhesive touching your valuable beauties?
