Framing and COA, by AJ on Dec 18, 2008 19:47:51 GMT 1, Hi there,
What do you usually do with your COA for Banksy prints? I've taken my Nola into a framers and he says that he is going to put the original COA inside the frame so that it doesn't get lost with a photocopy on the back. Is this a good idea?

Framing and COA, by snakes on Dec 18, 2008 19:59:26 GMT 1, Bad idea. Always keep both separate as then the thief (God forbid if it ever gets stolen) does not have a COA with it and it is much harder for him/her to sell on.
Ps. also how much do you trust your framer?

NO NO NO NO, always keep your COA ina seperate place from your art. If the print get's burnt / waterdamaged / stolen you lose both! Preferably in a seperate house (at your parents).

Only if you're a clumsy oaf who tends to lose things. Why not keep your COAs in a file/envelope etc and cache them with other important documents such as insurance certs, nude pictures of your mum, etc.
