Just would like to point out that Clifton framing shop in bristol is not recommended if you would like a proper job done. I framed my jack and jill signed there a while ago and recently noticed it was starting to ripple slightly. I brought it to a local framer who said the following:
1) the tape used to stick to the back to the mount was not acid free and damaged the back of the print. Although it could have been much worse if left longer.
2) the backboard was not acid free
3) it was clips on it which would be used for a smaller photo, but not a big print.
He also pointed out other technical framing lingo which I dont understand but basically my warning is DONT GO TO THIS SHOP. Silly thing is that I have all my other artwork also framed at that shop. Oh well that will teach me... This is why I had to give them a bad name...
Just thought anyone in the area would like to know.

I expect he thought it was just a silly poster not 5 grand print.
did the new framer you went to say that the 3 points you listed were the cause of the print rippling?

Either way, go to the framer if you dont care but I wont...
