So....prints and storing., by Weegis on May 15, 2008 13:14:55 GMT 1, I know I've seen this thread here a million times before, but after using the search function for 20+ minutes now I cannot seem to find past info.
I have as of late began to experience a bit of a print back-up in the "to be framed" list. And as I'm seeing several of them are becoming quite valuable (not why I bought in the first place mind you) and the more I look at the ever-increasing tube pile I realize I need to get them stored flat and yes, framed eventually.....
I have found these things - Alvin Archival Art Envelopes from a store (DickBlick) here in the states.
Description - These art envelopes are made from heavy-duty clear vinyl, heat-sealed on three sides. A flap on the open side keeps the contents in place. They are sold individually, with acid-free, black paper inserts.
So these seem to be maybe what I need, but I also need protection ala a book or holder of some sort to keep from damage.
Anyone have any advice or know the link to a previous thread? Thanks for your time and the help would be greatly appreciated.
Also, a thread of this nature would be great as a sticky, no?

So....prints and storing., by abmobile on Aug 4, 2008 15:43:11 GMT 1, I just bought a print from an online auction with strong POW provenance, with Dora's confirmation - should I get Pest Control as well and/or should I feel confident with what the gallery is providing?? The Pest Control link doesn't seem to work, so I have been unable to send them the details... Please reassure
