Neilson Frames, by alvington89 on Feb 1, 2007 17:00:56 GMT 1, Just interested to see what you guys think about Neilson frames (the aluminium ones with the 'L' brackets etc.) Would you chose a wooden frame over these? Do you consider them to be good quality or the budget alternative?
Obviously some prints don't look good in them (ie: Micallef FF and JD) and warrant a more ornate approach but what would you choose for Dolk 'Burger King', 'Che', Hewlett 'Assualt Lolly'
and the like?

Take a look in the Get Your Banksy's Out thread to see I've got Che in one and also a couple of Banksy's but mine weren't cheap off the peg solutions, they were made to measure and had mounts cut by a specialist framer. I'm happy with the job and my Che has had a lot of positive reactions.

There are some prints out there that really work well in these frames and others that dont.
Think its all down to personal choice at the end of the day
