if u wait 6/12 months 2 years 3 years then sell is this still flipping ? either way i personally think if the money always stays in the artworld then all good if it leaves to line someones pocket then it is just not cricket

Flipping (or bagging) is now allowed via this forum, this is clear and people dont get 'lowballed' for it anymore. You can behave anyway you like and the good folk of the forum will gladly put up with it - the forum is an extension of e-bay where people used to share information even though this led to them being precluded occasionally from getting the art they wanted.
Information relating to prints or original art is only shared on the forum when there is no immediate upside in value, unless you are part of the 'premier league' forum which only exists via PM, then there exists a flipping (or bagging) 'club', to the detriment of initial information 'givers'.
I am eternally greatful to the Forum (particularly Pez, CG and Slammer) for the diversity of work that graces my walls but even more grateful to Art Republic Brighton who switched me on in the first place in 2002.
