I often don't declare the value of the piece and make sure that it must be sent incredibly well secured. I have never had a problem to this day. Actually just sent out a Faile last week that had a $1 value to the UK and it arrived perfectly. Just use a private shipping company and you'll be good.

I bought one of these from paper monster and got caught by customs during shipping.
Thankfully i only got charged 5% as i told them it had bits of hand finishing by the artist so each one was ever so slightly different (coffee stains etc). This is also a limited edition print (apparently) and not an open edition like most Faile so you shouldn't be paying full import duty.
